The plant «Komat» was set in operation in 1978 and was designated for the produce of reinforced slabs and mineral wool and self-bearing mineral wool slabs by the technology and at the equipment of Swedish company «Yungers». Computed production power of the plant makes up 15400 tons of mineral wool a year. In 1993 the enterprise was privatized and received its current name: « Open Joint Stock Company «Construction materials» (OJSC «KOMAT»).

The priority in the activity of the company is to meet the requirements of the consumers of our produce:

As well as the leading world companies-producers of mineral wool , OJSC»Komat» uses as the main raw material basalt rock (pyroxene porphyirit), which allows to receive high quality , long-lasting mineral wool , corresponding to the world level.

A large number of objects of various designation was constructed within the years of the enterprise activity in Russia and beyond its frontiers with application of the heaters of OJSC «Komat» production.
